Our PR Manager Karl Plunkett has maximised, devised and managed the media opportunities for Charlie Mullins and the company for the last four years. He is fully committed to protecting and enhancing our second to none reputation and maintains opens lines of communication with the media and the public.

Media Relations

• Coordinating all press requests and organising all TV and Radio appearances for Charlie and the company.
• Handling enquiries from the media including requests for Charlie’s response on breaking news issues and requests for expert commentators on a variety of issues.
• Liaising with our in-house photographer Leigh Quinnell.

Media Coverage

• Communicating with journalists and other media parties and providing detailed facts, figures and information about the company.
• Generating and executing news making stories on interesting activities/events Pimlico are involved in with the view of increasing the company’s external profile.

Expert/ Public Speaking

• Briefing Charlie before public speaking appearances and TV and Radio appearances.

Public Relations Agencies

• Managing both of the PR agencies that represent us including Max Clifford Associates and Recognition PR.
• Liaising with our PR agencies on the generation of news releases and PR strategies with the aim of effectively promoting the company.

Website

• Overseeing the management of the company website including website optimisation, content and design and involvement in new technological ideas.

Social and Social Networking

• Managing the company’s social networking and social media communications tools.
