Pimlico Vehicles & Clothing Available for Charity Events

Pimlico Vehicles

Both our classic vans and our modern working vans are available for charity events.

Our 2 Classic Vehicle's including a 1959 Morris Minor Van, and a 1958 Fordson Panel Van, our Blue and White Volkswagen (T5) Transporter working vans with their cherished number plates, our flatbed vans, our BMW motor bikes are available with a driver for any charity work , fund raising events, fetes, festivals or parades.

Our vehicles are great for all types of events. Their attractive blue and white livery means that they attract attention and are great for pictures, they are perfect for transporting large loads and the bikes are useful for transporting items quickly, they are always non stop up and down the King's road delivering small parts to our engineers.

We recently loaned the Red Cross one of our flat bed vans and a driver to make pick ups for the Haiti Appeal after one of theirs was stolen. Our Depot Manager transported 5,000 women’s outfits from central London to meet the Charity’s aid convoy on its way to the Island.

We take part in the London Lord Mayor’s Show each year, an 800 year tradition where the new Lord Mayor swears his allegiance to the Sovereign. Plumbers, electricians and their families march through the street of London in the 3 mile parade along with our VW Transporter vans, our BMW Motor Bikes and our cherished Morris Minor and Fordson Van.

One of our flat bed vans came in very useful to transport the Pimlico band Never Mind the Ballcock’s through the parade, whilst they were performing some of their tracks.

We’ve also been to the Bromley Pageant of Motoring every year since 2003. This is the largest 1 day classic vehicle show in the world. We take our Morris Minor and the Fordson Panel Van which are always a hit with classic car enthusiasts and of course our VW T5s are always present.

Pimlico Clothing

Pimlico’s branded clothing and accessories are also great for any charity or fundraising event. They are both attractive and practical and we have something for all weathers.

Pimlico’s clothing is very popular among runners. Our very own Buster Martin and the rest of the Pimlico running team wear Pimlico running shirts and hats every time they complete a marathon. The clothing has caught the attention of the crowd in each of Buster’s runs including the Flora London Marathon 2008, The Bupa 10K Run 2008 and the Rodin Valley Half Marathon 2008.

Charlie’s Executive Assistant, Mario Rebellato, wore the full Pimlico Running Kit on his mammoth six day, 155 mile race across the Sahara desert in 2010 where he raised thousands for Guys & St Thomas’ hospital.

Other runners that have chosen to sport the Pimlico colours whilst completing a Marathon are ex-professional boxer Vernon Sollas. He wore the Pimlico hat in both the Virgin London Marathon 2010 and the Edinburgh Marathon 2010 both of which he completed in record time and he swore that the hat made him run faster and raise lots of money for The Rhys Daniels Trust.

Pimlico takes part in the Lord Mayor’s Show every year and all engineers and their families wear the Pimlico uniform. And with the event taking place in November each year I think that they are all very happy to be wearing the Pimlico jumpers and coats and to have the Pimlico umbrella to shield them from the rain.

When Pimlico donated £50,000 to Help a London Child to host Capital FM’s breakfast show with Johnny Vaughn and Lisa Snowden all the engineer’s wives and girlfriends had T’shirts saying ‘I’m a Plumber’s Wife’ and ‘Pimlico Plumber’s Wags’ and the Kids had ones saying ‘My Dad’s a Pimlico Plumber’. They were a bit of fun and all the kids loved wearing them.

If you have a charity event coming up and require a Pimlico vehicle, Pimlico hat, T’shirt, jumper, coat or umbrella free of charge please contact Mario Rebellato using the details below:
